Welcome to the Africa Baptist Theological Educators Network. As you visit this site, we would like for you to know that we aim at theological academicians encouraging each other, mobilizing of laborers for the work of ministry into the harvest, and leading African Baptist churches to Baptist roots and experiencing a theological revival.
As ABTEN, we are agreed that Baptist theological institutions seek to impact local African churches by strengthening and promoting sound, missional and contextual theological education that is rooted in the Bible and responsive to African socio-cultural realities. In so doing, the churches will be obeying the Great Commission of the Lord (Matthew 28:16-20).
