Dr. Stuart Sheehan is a theological educator and mission strategist. As President and CEO of World Hope Ministries International (WHMI), he works to help catalyze movements to make theological education globally accessible to every pastor and ministry leader. WHMI is currently working in 26 nations across Africa (50 nations around the world).
Stuart earned doctorates from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland (PhD-Divinity) and The
University of Texas at Austin (DMA). He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS), the Evangelical Missiological Society (EMS), and has been a Praxis Scale Fellow.
His research interests include global theological education, historical theology, worship, and Baptist history. Before serving with WHMI, he ministered in the local church for more than 30 years.
He is married to his best friend, Amy. They have three grown children and together share the joy of being grandparents.
