Dr. Davis studied at the Howard Payne University where he was awarded his B.A. in Practical Theology in 1985. He then moved on to complete his M.Div. at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and achieved his doctorate in Biblical Studies, specialising in both Old Testament and New Testament Studies along with Greek and Hebrew.
Ronnie has served in a variety of callings in pastoral ministry as well as teaching in Bible colleges in the United States. He started teaching at the Cape Town Baptist Seminary in 2000 and has been appointed as a career missionary of the International Mission Board, serving for 20 years. His teaching focus is on biblical studies and evangelism and church planting.
Ronnie is married to Gail and they have 4 children and one grandchild.
