Dr. Phil Barnes is married to Laura, and they have two boys – Daniel and Jonathan. Between the four of them, the Barnes family has lived in ten countries on four continents. Phil was born in the US state of Texas but was raised in the state of Tennessee.
He completed his Masters and PhD at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Phil’s passion is to see African believers leading the way in terms of theological dialogue and missions engagement.
