Dr. Linzay Rinquest joined Cape Town Baptist Seminary during 1996 as a part-time lecturer and administrator after having served as a youth worker and pastor.
Having graduated from the seminary with a Licentiate in Theology he pursued and completed both Masters and Doctoral studies at the University of Stellenbosch with specializations in Old Testament. He undertook part of his research in the USA and also undertook field experience in Biblical Archaeology in Israel.
He became the Registrar in 1998 and lecturer in Biblical Hebrew, Old Testament and various other disciplines.
