Dr. Grant Lovejoy has been Director of Orality Strategies for the International Mission Board of Southern Baptists (IMB) since 2004. Previously he and his family served in Africa and Asia, and he taught homiletics at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas. Grant co-edited Biblical Hermeneutics and Making Disciples of Oral Learners, plus three books on contextualizing theological education for oral cultures. Don Barger and Grant are co-hosts of “That Reminds Me of a Story,” a podcast that discusses orality, missionary strategy, and storytelling.
He and his wife, Donna, live in Glen Allen, VA. They have two married daughters and three grandchildren.
