Dr. John Kutsko is the Executive Director of Atla, a theological library association committed to advancing the study of religion and theology. Dr. Kutsko received a MA from the Department of Near Eastern Studies at the University of Michigan and a PhD in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from Harvard University. He is a contributing editor of The SBL Handbook of Style, author of Between Heaven and Earth: Divine Presence and Absence in the Book of Ezekiel, and co-editor of The King James Version at 400. In addition, Dr. Kutsko has written multiple articles in various journals. He has also served as an associate publisher at Abingdon Press, an Executive Director of the Society of Biblical Literature, helped form the International Qur’anic Studies Association, and oversaw a launch of the website for Bible Odessey.
