Charles came to faith in 2004 while at Kenyatta University and immediately began attending Parklands Baptist Church in Nairobi. While there, he served in various capacities before eventually going out in 2012 as Youth Pastor to a church plant in Membley Park.
Thereafter, he joined the staff at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Nairobi, where he presently serves at Ekklesia Afrika as the SOMA Program Manager.
Charles is married to Jasmine Chepkurui and blessed with two sons.
At ABTEN 2018, Mr. Karuri led breakout sessions on the topic of Ekklesia Afrika.
