Welcome to Kenya. We are grateful that you are a part of this historic meeting. Our desire for this meeting is to form a coalition of Baptist seminaries who would partner together to
- mutually encourage one another,
- mobilize more laborers into the harvest and
- lead the African church to return to their Baptist roots and experience a theological revival; where Baptists are leading the way in addressing issues like the prosperity gospel and other aberrant theologies that are plaguing Africa and the world.
During these days together our prayer is that God will unite us in our shared vision, shared challenges, and shared solutions. May we enjoy the fellowship, create accountability, pursue integrity in our doctrinal fidelity, improve our teaching, and lead our institutions to health.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
