Kevin and his wife, Suzie, hail from North Carolina. While attending University of North Carolina-Wilmington, he served as the Associate Pastor of Freedom Baptist Church. He also pastored in Arkansas for 5 years at Widener Baptist Church.
Kevin and Suzie have served as missionaries with the IMB in Africa since 1997. While in Lusaka, Zambia he was a lecturer at the Baptist Theological Seminary of Zambia. Later he was a church planter for over 10 years in the eastern part of the country.
He served as the Associate Cluster Leader for Zambia, then the Cluster Leader of the Zambezi Cluster. Since 2016 he has been the Cluster Leader for the East Africa Cluster as well as the Theological Education Associate for the Sub-Saharan African Peoples Affinity.
Kevin holds a M.Div. from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, Memphis, TN and a Ph.D. in Missions from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.
He and Suzie have three children and live in Nairobi, Kenya.
